PLC with Color Touchscreen
Vision570™ : PLC with Color Touchscreen HMI & Snap-in I/Os
The Vision570™ is a powerful PLC with a built-in HMI Operator Panel, comprising a 5.7” color touchscreen display. On-board I/Os can be added by simply snapping a module onto the back of the PLC; Snap-in I/O Modules come in several configurations. I/O Expansion modules enable integrating up to 171 I/Os per Vision PLC.
The Vision570™ offers a rich range of embedded features such as multiple auto-tuned PID loops, and internal 120K database for datalogging and recipe programming. Communication options include TCP/IP Ethernet, GSM/SMS, MODBUS and CANopen networking plus remote access for data acquisition and program download.
2MB Ladder code application memory (plus 6MB for images and 1MB for fonts) enable the Vision570™ to run complex control and automation tasks.
The 256-color touchscreen HMI enables the display of color-coded operator instructions and red, attention-grabbing alarm screens. It can also display graphs according to historical values—to reflect trends of recorded data. Display options are almost endless with more than 1000 user-designed screens, and up to 500 images per application.
The Vision PLC/Graphic HMI series introduces an unbeatable price-performance ratio, enabling users to enjoy the advanced features of both the operator panel and the PLC, while maintaining low budget, reduced programming time and minimum wiring.

Alarm management
Event and alarm management
Loaded with the accurate tracking of alarms or events of the plant, the alarm log offers extended possibilities (severity, urgency, selective acknowledgement, prevention…) and pre-configured filter modes that are particularly ergonomic (tree-like organization of equipment, functional groups...). The states also use the tree structure of equipment: the sub-assemblies with alarm are identified instantaneously by a red point and the list of states of the sub-assembly is displayed by clicking once in the equipment tree. Associated with equipment in a mimic diagram, the log automatically filters information corresponding to it.
Recording measurements and tracer
The recorders take charge of the automatic recording of measurements or data in event mode, due to which there is economy of storage size. Periodic forcing remains possible. Periodic archiving, fixing the duration of data retention "online", is also managed.
Natural complement of recorders for the views, the tracer is a client component that ensures the display of data in the form of graphs, histograms and tables, operating both on archives and on online data, and this in a totally transparent manner. The tracer is fully configurable during operation, in as much as for the selection of colors, scales, zoom factor, as for more sophisticated operations: direct statistics on the displayed graphs, comparison of one production with an older production… etc.
Recipe and set point records
The MESbox SCADA pack provides a recipe mechanism that allows for transparent management in the database of set points meant for equipment. It offers several exchange modes with automatic control systems, whose synchronized mode avoids anything random. The corresponding recipe records can contain an unlimited number of parameters grouped by categories as needed. The recipe system of the MESbox SCADA pack is upgradeable to the multi-level recipe system of the MESbox PMT pack, ISA-88 compatible.

High level man-machine interface
The unique mechanisms of the MESbox SCADA and of the COOX platform facilitate the creation and maintenance of user views. Making the most of the component technology of the platform, pre-animated graphics objects provide you with a set of general controls (buttons, cursors, symbols, presentation panels, …) and specialized libraries (vessels, materials handling, electricity…). Insertion of your own images, photographs and technical plans ensure customization and creativity without limits.
Tree structure of views
The tree-like organization of views and the navigation bars are generated automatically. No more problems during creation and maintenance of navigation links between pages. Reorganizing the navigation for better ergonomy becomes child's play.
The layers combine the recurring elements of each view: screen background, logos, title areas, date and time, alarms bands, navigation bars... etc. Modifying a layer is enough to modify all the views using it, if the component technology allows it!
Equipment explorer
The equipment explorer is a unique component that revolutionizes the notion of mimic diagram that one expects generally in supervision. With the help of the explorer, you can explore a complete workshop and even the complete factory in a spontaneous manner without having to set up a complex navigation between the views. A simple selection of a section in the equipment tree displays all the status and controlling information. If a mimic diagram has been realized, it will be displayed automatically. The equipment explorer also handles zooming and moving a mimic diagram, which enables you to navigate in a bigger space than the screen, which will combine all the equipment in a workshop, for example.

The supervision and control-command of your plants are an essential component of your production management. To ensure communication with your automatic control systems and equipment, to offer your operators optimum operational ergonomy are the indispensable characteristics. But the era where supervision involved a simple on-screen report of onsite information and a user-friendly interface is over. Today, it is indispensable that the data collected by the supervision is consolidated into a structured organization of all your production data and is available to all the actors of your company, without being obliged to redesign this organization with every addition of equipment to your workshops. This is where the COOX* platform, on which the MESbox SCADA pack is based, comes into play.
