Local expansion adapter—used to link between the PLC and up to 8 expansion modules (no. of I/Os may vary according to model). Supports both 12/24VDC.

Remote expansion adapter—used to link between Vision PLCs and I/O expansion modules via CANbus. Multiple adapters may be connected to a single PLC, with up to 8 module to each adapter (no. of I/Os may vary according to model). Supports both 12/24VDC.
